Job summary

Concord Hospital seeks a Nutrition Care Representative to coordinate patient meal orders, ensure diet accuracy, and supervise tray-line processes. You will obtain orders from patients or visitors, verify diet constraints, and support timely meal delivery in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining the patient admissions list in the ADT/ordering system, processing diet orders in the EMR, and communicating with care teams to meet dietary needs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow diet constraints and communicate with patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintains list of patient admissions via computerized ADT/food ordering system, interface with EMR.
• Obtains meal orders from patients/visitors and provides diet-appropriate menu.
• Coordinates the assembly of patient meals during the tray line process.
• Verifies accuracy of patient meal orders and handles substitutions as needed.
• Delivers and sets up patient trays, documents percent eaten.
• Lollows room service protocol and communicates with nursing units and dietitian.
