Job summary

Memorial Community Health Inc. is seeking a part-time Dietary Assistant for the morning shift with weekend rotation. The role involves meal preparation, reviewing diets, serving meals, and sanitation in a hospital kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and sanitation preferred
• Food service or customer service experience preferred
• Experience working with the elderly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals to patients, visitors and staff according to approved menus
• Assists with tray assembly ensuring a smooth workflow from food preparation for delivery
• Maintains responsibility for high-quality food preparation, proper food handling and sanitation
• Assists in stocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and dining room
• Demonstrates appropriate use, sanitation and care of equipment to provide a safe and sanitary work environment using required guidelines
