Job summary

Hunter Health Clinic Inc. in Wichita seeks a Patient Intake Representative to provide outstanding front-desk service, verify patient information, collect payments, and schedule appointments within the clinic’s workflow.

You will greet patients, update records, assist with registration, and support billing, while following federal and clinic policies. This full-time role offers PTO, holidays, insurance, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a prior customer service role is required.
• Experience in a clinic office setting is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors whether in-person or on the telephone, answering inquiries or directing to others for info.
• Schedules appointments in person or by telephone to optimize patient access.
• Maintains patient accounts and records by updating personal and financial information.
• Screens and enrolls eligible patients into clinic’s programs.
• Manages and records revenue by collecting charges and handling third-party claims.
• Assists patients with registration forms and resolves concerns as needed.
