Rogers Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Intake Specialist to serve as a patient advocate and first point of contact for patients and families seeking services.

The role is part of a multidisciplinary team and supports admissions, documentation, and coordination with Patient Access. Pool II position requires availability for minimum eight shifts in a 4-week period, with many weekend and evening hours; some day and third shift hours may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• NCI training within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and families to the facility.
• Educates admissions patients about the admissions process.
• Input medical, insurance and demographic information with accuracy.
• Explain insurance coverage during admission.
• Complete admissions paperwork in Cerner and obtain signatures.
