Role Overview: Under close supervision, serve patients of diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds by taking menu orders in person and over the phone, assembling trays, and delivering food. Build strong relationships with Nursing and provide excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with standards and participate in process improvements.

Responsibilities include:

• Using computerized diet office applications to guide and input patient menu selections.
• Suggesting menu items, condiments, and add-ons to enhance satisfaction and ensure diet compliance.
• Verifying and reading back menu selections.
• Maintaining records of patient preferences and pertinent information.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English; understanding food service terms.
• One year of technical experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
