Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Patient Server at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital in Highlands, NC. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with every other weekend, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

No prior experience is required; trainees will be guided through the responsibilities, including tray assembly, menu assistance, and delivering meals while respecting dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes patients menu selections and delivers trays according to schedule.
• Assembles trays accurately according to patients' menu selections.
• Complies with dietary restrictions and allergy considerations.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate.
• Maintains tray tracking and timely delivery to patient rooms.
• Supports dietitian with monitoring patients on special diets.
