Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Health care company, is hiring for a full-time Patient Server in Highlands, NC. You will manage patient meal service from menu selection through tray delivery, while following dietary restrictions and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with every other weekend, training provided, and a pay range of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, and in-between meal service.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections and delivering trays.
• Ensures dietary restrictions and allergies are respected and accommodated.
• Assembles trays according to menu selections and tray tickets accurately and promptly.
• Coordinates with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions and patient food needs are met.
