Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center in Huntersville, NC. You will prepare, present and serve meals with a focus on safety, quality and patient satisfaction.

We require prior customer service, food service and cash handling experience. Shifts are 8 hours, days may vary with rotating weekends. The fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour and benefits are offered for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, food service, and cash handling experience required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work like washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Ensures proper portion control and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves concerns with supervisor instructions.
• Complies with sanitation, safety, inventory and cash control procedures.
