Orlando Regional Medical Center in Downtown Orlando is seeking a Patient Food Hospitality Attendant to support dining services. You will deliver patient trays, coordinate with the diet office, and ensure accurate meal orders while interacting warmly with patients, visitors, and nursing staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork within the ORMC Food & Nutrition Services, on-site in Orlando. Training is provided; no prior experience is required, and you will contribute to timely tray delivery,

Qualifications

• Ability to read, recognize, and differentiate between words and numbers
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers

Responsabilités

• Displays excellent communication and customer service skills with patients, nursing staff and visitors
• Delivery of proper tray to the correct patient using proper customer service skills
• Arrange trays on delivery cart and logging delivery times
• Log tray locations and ensure trays are delivered to patients within a reasonable time
• Collect money for guest trays and log money with the diet office
• Collect and remove soiled trays and keep work areas clean
• Coordinate tray delivery with expeditor and diet office as needed
• Assist with expediting trays from list and call preparation areas, checking trays for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor patient diet prescriptions, diet order changes, nourishment orders, late tray requests and quality standards
• Accurately take and check patient menus according to physician diet orders

Essential Functions

Displays excellent communication and customer service skills with patients, nursing staff and visitors

• Responsible for delivery of the proper tray to the correct patient using proper customer service skills.
• Functions as an integral part of the Orlando Health team to support the nutritional needs of the patient.
• Responsible for arranging trays on delivery cart and logging delivery times.
• Logs tray locations and ensures trays are delivered to patients within a reasonable required time.
• Responsible for collection of money for guest trays and the logging of money with the diet office.
• Responsible for collection and removal of soiled trays from floors and for keeping work areas cleaned
• Coordinates tray delivery with the expeditor and with the diet office when necessary.
