Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide. You will perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room duties, assisting in food preparation and serving to patients, families, staff and visitors.

The role emphasizes timeliness, quality service, and safety while supporting other kitchen areas as needed. Eligible candidates may have a high school diploma and healthcare food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services.
• You will be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assisting in clean up.
• Being timely and efficient when preparing food.
• Providing high quality food preparation and service.
• Completing all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
• Volunteering to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Operating equipment and performing related duties in a safe manner.

Position: Food Service Aide/ Dietary Aide

Location: Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central

Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $15.50-$18.90 per hour (Based on years of experience)

Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central is a 31-bed free-standing critical illness recovery hospital. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible. Our hospital also offers medical rehabilitation through Select Medical Rehabilitation, a 32-bed acute rehabilitation unit. The unit is designed to meet an individual’s rehabilitation needs and goals through a range of programs and services. The unit is located within Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central
