Job summary

Orlando Regional Medical Center is seeking a Dishroom Attendant to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen area at ORMC Food Production in Downtown Orlando, Florida.

The role involves loading and unloading the dish machine, hand-washing pots and utensils, stocking after cleaning, and assisting kitchen staff as needed. Training is provided on-site; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Capable of writing simple correspondence and responding to common inquiries or complaints.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Remove waste and dispose of it properly; empty and clean garbage receptacles.
• Clean serving carts and the dishroom, including sweeping, mopping, washing walls, floors, and floor mats.
• Stock all dishware and glassware after cleaning.
• Perform closing duties as per established standards.
• Adhere to MSDS standards, safety protocols, sanitation, infection control procedures, and HACCP guidelines.
• Communicate relevant information about customer and department needs to management and team members.

Position Summary:
