Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek’s Mary Coleman Breast Health Center is seeking an Imaging Services Assistant for a part-time, benefit-eligible role. You will support Radiology with patient and record flow, appointment reminders, and front-line customer service in a busy imaging environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of customer service experience, and BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 6 months related customer service experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days and maintained thereafter.
• General medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate appointment instructions and reminders to patients.
• Ensure stock is replenished in the work area and handle mail within radiology.
• Assist patients, family, and visitors in navigating the campus.
• Handle incoming calls to Radiology and route appropriately.
• Prepare results for providers and patients for mail out.
• Review incoming faxes and route orders, reports, and records.
