Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Hospital Phlebotomist to collect specimens, process them, and perform data entry with accuracy. You will support quality patient care and work within established policies and procedures.

You will greet patients, manage supplies, and assist training for new associates, while following safety and confidentiality requirements across all ages and settings.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience or completion of an accredited training program.
• ASCP phlebotomy certification desired.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies and patient preparation.
• Train new associates and students.
• Perform venipuncture and dermal puncture accurately.
• Label specimens precisely and log accurately in the system.
• Enter test orders and patient data in the lab computer system.
• Provide reports to physicians and nursing units as requested.
• Adhere to policies ensuring quality patient care.
