Job summary

Labcorp in Providence, RI is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests and enter data accurately while providing excellent patient service.

The role may involve travel to additional sites and requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and 6+ months of experience. Strong communication and reliability are essential, with a pay range of $18.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred LabCorp experience.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Ability to pass color vision test and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and related tests.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs; travel to other sites as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform admin duties as required.
