Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Providence RI. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient care.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or relevant training, with travel to additional sites as needed. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
