Job summary

Labcorp in Providence, RI is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with travel to other sites as needed. You will perform venipuncture and specimen collection for various tests, input data accurately, and assist with billing and patient service.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred experience at LabCorp. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

• Phlebotomy certification or training; 6+ months experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
