LensCrafters in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist during eye examinations, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate recordkeeping and HIPAA compliance.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Training will cover pre-exams and optical retail collaboration to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients for tests.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; identify special needs.
• Explain measurements and questions to patients with patience.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient records.
• Support retention and cultivation of exams and contact lens orders.
• Input patient data and services into CIAO system with accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
