Job summary

LensCrafters in Wisconsin is seeking an Optometric Technician for a casual part-time position. You will support the optometrist during examinations, prepare patients, manage records, and assist with contact lens orders and inventory while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills are essential. Training is provided and you will work with a friendly team in a fast-paced retail/eye-care environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and maintain a professional image.
• Answer calls promptly in a friendly manner.
• Assist the optometrist with eye examinations and pre-exam prep.
• Review prescriptions and patient information accurately.
• Maintain HIPAA compliant records and organize patient data.
• Input data using CIAO system and manage insurance information.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and contact lenses.
• Support retail as capacity allows.
• Ensure a safe working environment and proper disinfection.
