Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff across units. You will take and record vital signs, assist with patient hygiene and elimination, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will stock supplies, operate hospital equipment as directed, and perform routine clerical tasks. Qualified candidates will read, write and speak English effectively, hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and be able to float between Orange and Irvine locations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Must be able to float between the Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in a therapeutic way.
