UCI Health in Orange and Irvine seeks a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff by performing vital sign measurements, assisting with hygiene and elimination, and keeping the unit clean and safe. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, operating hospital equipment as directed, completing routine clerical tasks, and coordinating with team to ensure patient comfort and efficient care.

Candidates should have basic medical terminology knowledge, be able to read/write/speak

Competenze

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Able to float between Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• Read, write and speak English effectively.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or LVN or in accredited nursing program with at least 1 clinical semester.
• Strong communication in a therapeutic manner.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
