Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of front desk or medical receptionist experience.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software.
• Knowledge of medical insurance verification and billing procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional, friendly manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in EMR
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
• Manage front desk workflow to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day
