ConvenientMD is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our New England clinics. You will support clinicians, engage with patients, and help ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities include triage, taking vital signs, recording histories, assisting with procedures, medication guidance, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant EHRs. We value compassionate, proactive team players who communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years of MA experience.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required; CPR/ACLS online not accepted.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and privacy-conscious.
• Proactive, confident communicator with colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients, addressing inquiries and providing information on conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
• Explain medications, dosages, adverse reactions, and lifestyle guidance.
• Support clinical operations; triage patients and perform basic procedures; document in EHRs.
• Administer medications under supervision per state guidelines (NH & ME only).
• Collaborate with the clinical team and assist with discharge planning.
