ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in New England. You will support providers, engage with patients, and help maintain smooth clinic operations to improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least one year of experience or two years as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused attitude.
• Proactive and confident communicator.
• Trustworthy and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent team player and collaborative mindset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn EHR/Experity.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information about conditions, treatments and medications.
• Triage patients with preliminary evaluations to assess urgency and needs.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, perform phlebotomy, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information in EHRs in compliance with privacy regulations.
