Job summary

Community Physicians seeks a patient-centered Medical Assistant for Monarch Naperville. The role supports physicians and staff in a busy outpatient clinic, handling rooming, vitals, EHR documentation, and routine procedures. You will assist with exams, specimens, follow-ups, and front-office tasks in a collaborative team environment.

The position offers 32–40 hours per week with a pay range of $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience, in Naperville, IL.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a consistent schedule of 32–40 hours per week.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CMA/RMA credential preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain before start date.
• At least one year of outpatient clinic or medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic/Cerner/Athenahealth) and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient Rooming & Intake: welcome patients, document vitals, update medical histories in the EHR.
• Clinical Support: prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits and procedures.
• Lab & Diagnostic: collect and label specimens per protocol and training.
• Patient Communication & Follow-Up: relay test results and handle routine refills.
• Administrative Support: maintain records and assist scheduling and front-office tasks.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control practices, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
• Team Collaboration: work with clinicians and staff to support efficient workflows.
