HCA Healthcare Laboratory Services in Florida is seeking a Non-Technical Hospital Laboratory Coordinator to provide expertise and champion results. This role supports non-technical functions across specimen collection and processing, reporting, and testing coordination.

You will work under supervision, coordinate shifts, and help the department achieve goals in service, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction; a High School diploma is required, with preferred phlebotomy cert and

Qualifications

A High School or GED required.
Vocational/Technical diploma preferred.
Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
1-3 years in specimen collection and processing.
1-3 years in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the activities of non-technical support functions of the department on assigned shifts under supervision.
Perform all non-technical duties within the department, including specimen collection, processing and referral testing.
Support the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra- and inter-departmental activities.
