Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets and orients patients as they arrive for their appointments.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments as necessary.
• Files reports and charts; updates patient recalls as needed.
• Types patient labels, charts, and miscellaneous correspondence promptly.
• Maintains organized patient files and assists patients at checkout.
• Answers telephone promptly, directs calls to appropriate personnel, and handles emergencies.
• Performs front desk duties between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. daily.
• Obtains proper insurance information; informs patients about fees and schedules.
