Job summary

EyeCare Partners, a leading clinical eye care network, seeks a Front Office Specialist to be the first contact for patients in a busy office. You will deliver excellent service, manage check-in/out, answer phones, verify insurance, and process payments to keep patient flow smooth.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, professional interaction, and accurate daily reconciliations while supporting a high standard of Total Patient Experience across locations.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• Background check per state requirements; proof of identity and work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients.
• Greet patients promptly, display a professional attitude, and thank them upon leaving.
• Answer phones and assure courteous service at all times.
• Manage patient flow, check in/out, and collect payments according to procedures.
• Verify insurance authorizations and maintain flow sheets.
• Maintain office duties and adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
