Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a full-time nursing unit assistant to support patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned units. You will help with admissions, discharges and transfers, assist with patient throughput and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include reception-type duties for patients and families, ensuring unit supplies, equipment readiness and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months previous related experience preferred.
• Preferred experience in customer service, retail or clerical roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units.
• Facilitate efficient patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Support patient experience and culture of safety through equipment readiness, supplies and overall environment of care.
• Provide reception-type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
