Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a devoted unit support specialist to assist with patient flow, admissions and transfers on a rotating Sunday schedule. The role includes reception-type services for patients and families and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment on the nursing unit.

Under the Nurse Manager's supervision, you will help ensure smooth admissions, discharges, and transfers, while upholding Trinity Health’s mission and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months previous related experience.
• Preferred customer service, retail, clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception-type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
• Support admissions, discharges and transfers to facilitate efficient patient throughput.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, unit supplies, and overall environment of care to support patient experience and safety.
