Job summary

Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley, Inc. is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator to optimize center flow and enhance patient experience. You will triage waiting patients, manage daily staff and patient schedules, and collaborate with clinicians and Center Management to maintain efficient operations.

The role requires at least two years in a health or related setting or one year in a supervisory role, with PP/FP experience preferred. Some weekends/evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a health, medical or social service setting or one year supervisory experience
• Planned Parenthood or family planning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a system for optimal center flow
• Meet productivity benchmarks and reduce patient wait times
• Maximize clinician productivity by organizing patient charts
• Monitor and prioritize waiting patients and adjust schedules
• Coordinate daily staffing patterns to ensure room utilization and patient satisfaction
• Assist in walk-ins, late patients and emergency appointments; coordinate with Center Management
