Job summary

Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley is hiring a Patient Flow Coordinator to improve center efficiency and patient experience. You will triage patients, manage daily schedules, and ensure rooms are filled to maximize productivity.

The role partners with Center Management and Clinicians to reduce wait times, coordinate staffing, and maintain high-quality, accessible reproductive health services. Some evening hours and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a health, medical or social service setting
• Planned Parenthood or family planning experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a system for optimal center flow
• Meet productivity benchmarks and reduce patient wait times
• Ensure clinicians maximize productivity by charting room occupancy
• Monitor waiting patients and triage as needed during busy hours
• Adjust daily patient and staff schedules to ensure flow
• Communicate with Center Management on staffing and flow issues
• Coordinate next-day readiness and room stocking
• Track cancellations and no-shows to fill slots
• Facilitate translation, referrals and reporting as needed
