Job summary

Inspira Health seeks a Patient Flow RN to coordinate high-acuity patient movement and support system capacity management. The role provides clinical oversight for complex transfer cases, including behavioral health, and serves as a real-time resource for placement and throughput decisions.

The RN also operates as an expeditor, proactively identifying discharge barriers and aiding transfer center operations and bed coordination during high-volume periods across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• BSN required for hires after Sep 1, 2021; Mannington hires post-6/1/2023 must have BSN or enroll and obtain BSN by 3rd work anniversary.
• Hired prior to BSN preferred; associate degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health, critical care, or ED.
• Experience in command center or centralized hospital operations (preferred).
• Experience in patient flow, bed management, or hospital operations (preferred).
• Experience in behavioral health or high-acuity patient management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-acuity patient movement and support system capacity management.
• Provide clinical oversight for complex transfer cases, including behavioral health.
• Serve as a real-time resource for patient placement and throughput decisions.
• Act as expeditor to identify and resolve discharge barriers and support bed coordination.
