Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with relevant nursing education.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly across teams and departments.
• Experience coordinating patient flow in high-acuity settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and throughput in Emergency Department.
• Communicate patient flow status to leadership and staff.
• Monitor volumes and place patients in appropriate care areas by acuity.
• Lead coordination with Placement Services and ancillary departments to address delays.
• Provide concise, actionable handoffs to on-coming coordinators and leadership.
• Oversee prompt discharge planning and room turnover.
