Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey seeks a Patient Flow RN to coordinate high-acuity patient movement, oversee bed management, and support transfer center operations across the system. Qualifications

• BSN required if hired after Sep 1, 2021.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health, critical care, or ED.
• Experience in a command center or centralized hospital operations setting is preferred.
• Experience in patient flow, bed management, or hospital operations is preferred.
• Certification/licensure: NJ RN license required; BLS (AHA) required; CEN/CPEN/CCRN/PMHN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-acuity patient movement and support system capacity management.
• Provide clinical oversight for complex transfer cases including behavioral health patients.
• Serve as a key resource for real-time decision-making related to patient placement and throughput.
• Act as an expeditor to identify and resolve discharge barriers.
• Support transfer center operations and bed coordination during high-volume periods to ensure safe, timely patient movement across the continuum of care.
