Jefferson Health in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Unit Secretary to support patient care operations on the unit. You will perform a range of clerical duties, including data entry into the Hospital Information System, and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges to keep patient flow smooth.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, coordinate appointments, manage medical records, and help ensure inventory and supply needs are met.

Qualificações

• Minimum secretarial and computer experience with medical terminology.
• Data entry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming calls and support unit operations.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Coordinate patient appointments/testing within the unit.
• Maintain medical records and organize patient information.
• Support inventory needs of the unit with supply chain.
