Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, visitors, and staff with professionalism and inclusivity.
• Assists in patient admission, transfer and discharge processes respecting patient preferences and safety.
• Maintains medical records and manages information flow to support unit operations.
• Communicates with the interprofessional team and coordinates with charge nurse for bed flow and staffing.
• Coordinates patient appointments/tests and supports unit testing and transport where needed.
• Performs clerical duties and uses Hospital Information System for data entry and record keeping.
