Job summary

The Kroger Co. seeks a Pharmacist to uphold safety, accuracy, and high-quality customer service in our Colorado pharmacy department.

You will verify Rx orders, counsel patients and prescribers, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while promoting immunizations and clinical activities as trained. The role requires a current Pharmacist license, US Pharmacy degree, NAPLEX, and willingness to work at multiple locations and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a current Pharmacist license in the state where employment is sought, with no stipulations or Board ordered restrictions
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam
• Ability to work at various locations
• Ability to travel independently

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions regarding products
• Communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
• Provide drug counseling with customers and prescribers
• Maintain accurate records including insurance and RX information
• Demonstrate ability to accurately and efficiently utilize RX computer system
• Maintain inventory and reconcile controlled substances
• Oversee immunizations to patients and engage in clinical activities as trained
• File prescription orders and records per state and federal regulations
• Assist with supervision and delegation of responsibilities to associates
• Run, review and interpret reports
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and procedures
