Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Colorado to deliver safe, accurate prescription processing and compassionate patient care in a high-volume retail setting.

You will counsel patients, administer vaccines, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while upholding brand standards and excellent service. Responsibilities include inventory management, scheduling, and collaboration with associates and vendors to maintain efficient operations and a positive pharmacy image.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and licensure are required.
• Strong communication and math skills.
• Ability to manage stress in a retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs with accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with all laws (HIPAA included).
• Maintain professional image and pharmacy standards.
• Understand local market and competition.
• Promote strong service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
• Manage stock, inventory, schedules, budgets, and reports.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing

Effective oral/written communication skills

Knowledge of basic math

Ability to handle stressful situations
