Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or two years of MA experience required.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills required.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and flexibility required.
• Strong computer skills with experience using medical systems required.
• Ability to operate general office machines (fax, copiers) required.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.

Responsibilities

• First clinical point of contact for SAMP patients, creating the first impression of the medical office.
• Work under direct clinical supervision of the physician when performing clinical tasks.
• Support patient flow, care coordination, and access while maintaining quality patient care.
