Essential duties include supporting receptionist and MA tasks, maintaining patient flow, and adhering to health center quality guidelines while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
• Current BLS card required (American Heart Association).
• California driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Minimum two years of medical office experience in outpatient clinic.
• Knowledge of billing codes, HIPAA and medical records laws.

Responsibilities

• Float between front and back office to support staffing shortages.
• Ensure efficient health center operations and patient flow.
• Monitor patient check-in/out processes and collections.
• Adhere to quality improvement guidelines (TJC, HRSA, PCMH, etc.).
