The Patient Financial Services Representative coordinates all financial aspects of the patient's hospitalization and/or office visits.
High school diploma or equivalent
*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
1 year related experience
3 years in hospital/ physician setting (Preferred)
Formal training in CPT and/ or ICD10 coding (Preferred)
