Responsibilities
- Utilizes excellent customer service skills at all times.
- Works with other laboratory personnel to resolve problems with laboratory client samples, and communicates resolutions to clients.
- Functions as liaison with clients to disseminate test information, answer inquiries, and troubleshoot problems.
- Performs clerical and customer service duties using electronic equipment and hospital/laboratory computer systems.
- Assists with client billing and communicates price changes to clients.
- Assists with performance improvement initiatives pertaining to customer service, including data collection and communication with laboratory leadership team.
- Assists with orientation and training of personnel and students; participates in and attends meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Required Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Preferred: 1 year laboratory experience; 1 year customer service experience.
