Job summary

UP Health System – Marquette is seeking a Financial Analyst to support real estate and equipment lease activity, with monthly accounting updates and cash flow forecasting. You will work with real estate, operations, and external vendors to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to debt covenants.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of related experience within a healthcare finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with real estate team on weekly lease activity and changes to leases.

• Review and reconcile monthly balances impacted by lease agreements.
• Update cash forecast models, sometimes daily.
• Monitor debt covenant compliance and other financial requirements.

How you'll contribute

A Financial Analyst who excels in this role:

• Coordinate with real estate team on a weekly basis regarding new real estate lease activity and/or changes to existing real estate lease agreements.
• Coordinate with operations teams and outside vendors regarding new and/or existing equipment lease activity.
• Administer accounting and financial reporting updates in the Company's lease accounting software tool on a monthly basis.
• Review and reconcile monthly financial statement balances impacted by new and/or existing lease agreements.
• Update cash forecast models on an ad hoc basis, sometimes as frequently as daily.
• Monitor compliance with debt covenants and other financial compliance responsibilities.
