Job summary

Lifepoint Health's UP Health System - Marquette is seeking an accounting/finance professional to support lease accounting and financial reporting within a regional healthcare network. UP Health System - Marquette is a 222 bed hospital in Marquette, MI with a Level II Trauma Center and NICU, part of Lifepoint Health.

You will collaborate with real estate, operations, and vendors to manage lease activity, update forecasts, and ensure compliance with debt covenants while delivering reliable monthly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with real estate team on weekly lease activity and changes.
• Coordinate with operations teams and vendors on lease activity.
• Administer accounting and financial reporting updates monthly in lease software.
• Review and reconcile monthly financial statement balances related to leases.
• Update cash forecast models, sometimes daily.
• Monitor compliance with debt covenants and other financial responsibilities.

How You'll Contribute

• Coordinate with real estate team on a weekly basis regarding new real estate lease activity and/or changes to existing real estate lease agreements.
• Coordinate with operations teams and outside vendors regarding new and/or existing equipment lease activity.
• Administer accounting and financial reporting updates in the Company's lease accounting software tool on a monthly basis.
• Review and reconcile monthly financial statement balances impacted by new and/or existing lease agreements.
• Update cash forecast models on an ad hoc basis, sometimes as frequently as daily.
• Monitor compliance with debt covenants and other financial compliance responsibilities.
