Responsibilities

Perform registration/check-in, collect and verify patient information and signatures.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations.
Calculate and collect patient liability; explain financial policies and resources.
Enter payments/charges and reconcile daily, balance cash drawer and prepare deposits.
Schedule appointments and procedures, maximize reimbursement per payor plan.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person to improve patient flow.
Assist with patient records requests and other duties to support clinic operations.
