Job summary

BayCare Health System in Oldsmar is seeking a Patient Financial Representative (PRN) to support billing, payments, and account inquiries. You will process cash applications, post payments, and follow up on explanations of benefits while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Summary:

Responsible for the administration of patient accounts which includes billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications. Documents patient account activity, posts payments, implements billing guideline changes and identifies trends at a payer specific level. Follows all established policies, procedures, industry regulations and operational standards. Researches, resolves and responds to patient inquiries involving accounts, payments and balances. Follows up on Explanation of Benefits, inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
