Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determine patient liability based on benefits and notify prior to procedures.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for admissions and services.
• Secure accurate demographic and insurance information and update accounts.
• Assist patients with discharge planning for financial responsibilities.
• Refer patients to government programs, charity, or discounts per policy.
• Coordinate with Case Management for Medicaid authorizations as needed.
• Maintain effective communication skills verbally, in writing and by phone.
• Proficient in mathematical skills.
