You will educate patients, review costs after visits, process PAP/Foundation applications, and help patients navigate payment options while maintaining HIPAA compliance and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Word processing/computer scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients needing financial guidance.
• Explain insurance benefits and costs to patients clearly.
• Educate patients on treatment costs and assistance programs.
• Review out-of-pocket costs after provider visits.
• Coordinate with clinical ops, billing, and staff to remove barriers to care.
• Take payments for procedures and balances.
