Responsibilities

• Screen self-pay patients for eligibility in governmental and non-governmental programs.
• Record and maintain complete documentation of activities on accounts.
• Perform financial clearance including collections and refer accounts for Financial Assistance review.
• Follow up on government applications and ensure timely processing.
• Conduct field visits to patient homes for skip tracing or document assistance.
• Notify hospital case management, social services and admissions staff of screening outcomes.
