Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Venice, FL is seeking a Patient Financial Navigator to manage patients' financial responsibilities and keep insurance benefits up to date in OncoEMR and Centricity.

You will handle managed care tasks, verify diagnosis coverage, and assist patients in understanding bills. A high school diploma and healthcare setting experience are required, with strong communication and insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting or clinical/office environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Insurance knowledge including medical terminology, managed care authorization, ICD-10 codes, and patient responsibility collection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and collect the financial responsibilities of patients.
• Keep patients' insurance benefits up to date in OncoEMR and Centricity and verify service/coverage relevance.
• Perform daily tasks of Managed Care and Patient Financial Navigator roles.
